Laena Velaryon and Daemon Targaryen may have looked like a really perfect fit, and lots of need to know why she killed herself on 'House of the Dragon.'
The sixth episode of House of the Dragon featured some pretty important upheavals, including the introduction of several new cast members and a ten-year time bounce. As we see in the episode, which is titled "The Princess and the Queen," 10 years is an important stretch of time and it approach the creation and deaths of a few characters who audience handiest know a bit about.

Following the 10 years time leap, we see that many of the show's central relationships have shifted. Princess Rhaenyra has been married for a decade, but has also spent that time engaged in a long-running affair with Harwin Strong, one of the sons of the Hand of the King. Daemon, in the meantime, has married Laena Velaryon, one of Corlys Velaryon's children, and had two daughters together with her.

Laena and Daemon are living throughout the Narrow Sea in Pentos, and receive an offer to keep there indefinitely to protect the town. They argue about whether to return to Westeros, and at the end of the episode, Laena, who's pregnant, struggles to effectively give birth to their third child. A person who is helping with the start says that he has exhausted his experience, and asks Daemon if he thinks they will have to minimize her open to attempt to save the kid.
Unlike his brother, Daemon comes to a decision now not to do this, and we quickly begin to notice that Laena goes to die both way. Daemon lets in her the room to decide how she will die, although, and Laena, who is lately driving Vhaegar, the largest dwelling dragon, comes to a decision that she needs to pass out like a dragonrider. She asks Vhaegar to burn her alive, and even supposing he initially hesitates, he ultimately complies.

Earlier in the episode, Laena had professed that she wanted to die the dying of a dragonrider, and in being burned alive via her dragon, she controlled to just do that. Laena's death, particularly once you have so little screen time as a kid after which an adolescent earlier in the sequence, left lots of people disenchanted and wishing they could see more of her. Even so, the moment itself used to be a horny powerful one.

Laena's tragic finish isn't the handiest death we see in the show's most up-to-date episode. After getting a bit of time with Harwin Strong and the youngsters he has had with Rhaenyra illegitimately, he is sent back to Harrenhal to put an end to the affair ahead of it threatens his life and Rhaenyra's claim on the throne.
As we see at the episode's end, though, Harwin's brother conspires in opposition to him and has each Harwin and their father Lyonel burned to demise at Harrenhal. Rhaenyra's decade-long tryst with Harwin is at an end, and Viserys is set to find himself in need of a brand new Hand of the King, which can make Otto Hightower's go back drawing close.
