With each Miss USA and Miss Teen USA resigning from roles about midway thru their respective runs, some other people are wondering who owns the group.

When requested for remark about the allegations the CEO and president instructed People, “Our all-encompassing objective at Miss USA is to have a good time and empower girls. Our individuals make a real difference in this country and all over the world. All along, my personal purpose as the top of this organization has been to encourage ladies to always create new desires, have the courage to explore it all, and proceed to maintain integrity along the best way. I grasp myself to those same top standards and I take these allegations severely.”
That observation mirrors the remark she gave Parade about after Miss Teen USA resigned. “Our all-encompassing objective at Miss USA is to have a good time and empower girls. Our contributors make a real distinction on this country and around the world. All alongside, my personal goal as the head of this group has been to inspire girls to all the time create new goals, have the courage to discover it all, and continue to keep integrity along the way in which. An unnamed source told the New York Post the three women planned their resignation together and Laylah was posting to each of their social media accounts.
While many think the president and CEO of Miss USA Laylah is the owner of the pageant, she's not. The company that actually owns the contest and put Laylah in charge obtained the long running pageant in 2022.
Thai celebrity (she starred in the Thai version of Shark Tank and Project Runway) and transgender rights advocate Jakapong "Anne" Jakrajutatip bought the Miss USA organization for $20 million in 2022. In November 2023 JKN Global Group, she group Jakapong works for as chief executive, filed for bankruptcy. In February 2024 a former president of the Miss Universe Organisation threatened Jakapong with a defamation lawsuit.
