Longest Third Date

The starting of the COVID-19 pandemic used to be terrifying, confusing, and, for no less than two other folks, it involved accidentally being stranded in Costa Rica for three months. Matt Robertson and Khani Le determined to spontaneously cross away for the weekend on their third date. They left on March 17, 2020. What must have been a whirlwind couple of days spent getting to grasp each other extra become Ninety days of cohabitation and desperation.

In the Netflix documentary Longest Third Date, we get to peer just what happens when other people stop being polite, and start getting actual. Was this the beginning of one thing gorgeous, or was it over prior to it even began. Are Matt and Khani still together? Here's what we all know.

Are Matt and Khani from 'Longest Third Date' still together?

The trailer for the documentary is not very revealing, as Matt and Khani are interviewed one by one. However, we did to find a photo of the couple on a friend's instagram dated Jan. 1, 2023. The caption reads, "Blessed to spend the end of the year in the best company and to celebrate with an abundance of food, LOVE, and friendship. I should only be this lucky every year." Hopefully, the LOVE is in connection with Matt and Khani, who each seem to be rather satisfied.

In February 2021, The New York Post reported the couple was once celebrating their one-year anniversary by means of a nice dinner out. Thankfully, they opted to hop in a car as a substitute of a plane. Before this, in September 2020, Matt and Khani followed a sickeningly lovely blue Frenchie pet named Banks, who has her own Instagram full of soul-crushingly cute footage and videos.

Costa Rica was once only the start for Matt and Khani.

When they have been eventually ready to return to the United States, both Matt and Khani revealed to The New York Post they had been anxious their burgeoning courting would not last. However, they were positive it might. "I didn’t really want to get my hopes up," stated Khani. "Coming off a roller-coaster ride of experiences being stuck in Costa Rica, I think there was also some element of procrastination — not wanting to get back to ‘real life,’ in case that changed the dynamic between us at all," Matt shared.

Since the arena used to be at a standstill on the time, they made up our minds to extend their trip through snagging a rental car once they landed in Texas. From there, Matt and Khani headed to Maine (where Matt is from). "I think we were both anxious and excited for a series of ‘firsts’ — meeting friends and parents," stated Matt. It seems the anxiousness as concerned about naught as the general consensus used to be that this would only lead to marriage. Obviously, your next step used to be riding to Seattle to meet Khani's circle of relatives.

Evidently, Khani had failed to say to her father that she was abroad on a date. He was once under the affect his daughter was once crashing with pals, but he treated the new information with ease. "I had a lot of pressure, but things went well, and I seemed to have passed the first of what I expect will be many tests," Matt informed The New York Post.

Ever since Matt and Khani stepped onto the plane that fateful day in March 2020, they have not been apart. "I wouldn’t change anything," gushed Khani. "In many ways, you can say we’re still on our third date," stated Matt.

Longest Third Date shall be to be had to circulation on Netflix on Tuesday, April 18.
