What happened to Mattie on 'JAG’? A Season 10 episode of the army drama revolved round the tragic aircraft accident that left her in a coma.

JAG gave us some of the most memorable, likeable, and best-written characters to have ever existed. 

Take Leroy Jethro Gibbs, an investigator who first gave the impression in a Season Eight episode titled "Ice Queen" before his storyline expanded into the plot of NCIS. 

From Harmon Rabb Jr. to Pitchta, his KGB spy-turned-nanny, or his adopted daughter, Mattie, the display portrayed an entire host of amazing characters.

What happened to Mattie? Did the widespread 'JAG' character die?

Mattie (Hallee Hirsh) first seemed in a Season 8 episode titled "Back in the Saddle." 

Unconventionally enough, she was presented as Harm's (David James Elliott) employer — a business-savvy teenage-something who's already taken over the circle of relatives empire, Grace Aviation.

Mattie had to give instructions of every type to a clueless Harm, whom she hired as a corp duster. 

As the sole lead of the corporate, she loved the ability to exercise managerial control over every aspect of the business. 

As a youngster still coping with the grief felt over the tragic loss of her mother and the excessive anger and bafflement precipitated by her alcoholic father's incalculable movements, alternatively, Mattie had a much harder time overcoming challenges.

Irreversibly intrigued through the ordinary young woman, Harm decided to get to know her better — and in a later episode, he even offered to undertake her. Unfortunately, Mattie handed on the large alternative, fleeing back to her needless father as an alternative.

A Season 10 episode titled "JAG: San Diego" captured a sad airplane coincidence that left Mattie in a coma. Needless to upload, the news left Harm devastated. 

The following couple of episodes revolved round his attempts to come to phrases with the crushing loss, showing how Mac (Catherine Bell) attempted to be there for him even at a time of unparalleled crisis. 

Mattie woke up from the coma at the very finish of the Season 10 Finale — leaving her future open to the viewers' interpretation. 

The last-ever episode of the show used to be a good fortune for the maximum part. However, many have criticized CBS for its reluctance to renew the show for any other season — and for its failure to give creators sufficient understand to get a hold of a powerful finishing.

"CBS had us on the bubble, and I kept saying, 'I want to take this show and go four or five episodes out, come up to [the ending slowly] and really build to a finale,'" govt manufacturer and author Donald P. Bellisario tells Chicago Tribune.  

However, the studio had a unique inventive imaginative and prescient, telling the crew to hope for the best and get ready for the worst as a substitute. 

"We can't tell you if that's going to be your finale. You may get picked up," Donald explains what he was informed at the time. 

In the finish, the creators have been left with a couple of weeks' notice, and so they selected to go away maximum storylines incomplete. Mattie's persona was no different. The viewers by no means got the chance to to find out what the long run held for her and Harm.
