If you’re searching for apartments in New York, get able to look a bunch of glorified, overpriced closets. And if you happen to’re fortunate, it should even include a puppy rat. Or a creepy neighbor who may have allegedly murdered their partner in the apartment above you and left the frame there to rot for weeks!
But if you happen to’re on the lookout for apartments across the pond in Newcastle, U.Okay., brace your self to peer some hallways. Long, winding, and not ending hallways. Because in step with one TikToker who visited the world, that’s it seems that common there these days.
TikTook user @cringedgg shared a video showing audience within an apartment in Newcastle, but it used to be a little bit extra paying homage to a hallway. “Did I just rent an apartment or a hallway” read the video’s replica. And honestly, if we had to answer that query, we wouldn’t know what to mention.
In the 16-second clip, @cringedgg turned a key in a lock and opened an apartment door with the number 23 on it best to see a hallway with closed doors that had been unnumbered. This used to be the "apartment" that they had rented.
Unfortunately, they didn't open any of the doorways to give us a glance inside, so it is exhausting to ascertain what the rest of where regarded like, but the hallway structure was enough to raise brows.
Most customary apartment in Newcastle 💀

Another said: "Getting furnishings in there can be insane."
Meanwhile, others remarked on the uniformity of the space. "I think like it's essential simply keep turning right and get caught in a never-ending hallway," read one comment.
Other users even referred to the space as an "indie horror sport map" and "an place of business hallway."
That aside, one person who was presumably familiar with Newcastle wrote that it was the "average newcastle apartment," adding that they personally wanted to get out of the area.
It isn't clear if @cringedgg just rented a room in this so-called apartment and there were other people staying behind some of the closed doors. Or if they rented an entire flat and each closed door led to a different room (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, etc.).
TikTok users asked if @cringedgg could share another video of the space; however, they wrote that they were only staying there for a short amount of time. "Sorry y'all that is the only vid I had so no tour. Besides that I already left the day prior to this from a 2 nights keep cuz I'm touring."
However, in other TikTok videos of apartments in the Newcastle area, it seems that the behind each door is a separate room, as illustrated in the video below.
