LMFAO May Have Parted Ways With Each Other, but Not With My Party Rockin' Heart

When I think back to my freshman year of school, a few issues instantly come to mind: method an excessive amount of late-night pizza, the Harlem Shake, and — most importantly — LMFAO. The iconic electronic pop duo basically catered the soundtrack to every area party and campus match. Like, if "Party Rock Anthem" did not play a minimum of thrice, one thing was severely off.

And should you, too, glance again at the pop duo with too many fond reminiscences to count, you may be wondering, "What happened to LMFAO?" The enthusiastic duo unfortunately parted ways several years in the past, so here is the entirety we know about their cut up.

They made two iconic hits together. Then, LMFAO parted ways. But what happened to them?

LMFAO consisted of Redfoo and Sky Blu, an uncle-nephew duo that were running on track together for about five or six years, according to Digital Spy. Finally, they won traction with the release of "Party Rock Anthem," and later, "Sexy and I Know It." But after participating for almost half a decade, they wanted to pursue different issues.

They performed the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Madonna, so let's be actual, they have been residing the dream. But a couple of brief months later, they determined to go their separate ways and paintings on other things. Avid lovers like myself were banking on at least 3 extra hits from them, but they were merely bored with keeping up the act.

Redfoo went on to make song in Australia and play tennis.

That's proper — Redfoo went at the X-Factor Australia and then made some tune in the market. But after releasing a debut album that did not accomplish that neatly in 2016, he made up our minds to fully take a break from music, in step with Life and Style.

Redfoo and his girlfriend, Jasmine Alkouri, now reside in combination, they are residing a vegan way of life, and they play tennis together frequently. Apparently, Redfoo were on course to play tennis professionally as a young person but suffered a big damage. So he is simply getting again into the swing of things (LOL) and enjoying lifestyles.

In early 2023, Jasmine announced her pregnancy on Instagram.

Redfoo also "resurrected" the Party Rock vibes in 2023, offering merch that screams, "Long Live Party Rock." Is there an LMFAO reunion in the works? Only time will inform.

Sky Blu continues to be making track. 

Life and Style reports that as of 2018, Sky Blu — who now goes via 8ky — remains to be cranking out unwell beats. Apparently, back in 2017, he released an album called "Chaos to Consciousness."

After parting ways, there was once rumored drama between the duo.

Four years after parting ways, in step with TMZ, Sky Blu it sounds as if accused Redfoo of abandoning him when he needed him most, when he suffered from a significant again harm. The musician claimed Redfoo had have shyed away from paying royalties, even when he launched a studio album the usage of their iconic "party rock" theme.

Redfoo's attorneys reportedly sent him a letter that mentioned he wouldn't be getting any LMFAO royalties, which led Sky to bash their document label. Alas, a family business long past awry.

While LMFAO is now not party rockin' as collaborative DJs, they're at all times party rockin' in our hearts. Their time together was short and candy, but memorable nonetheless.
