Meet Jessi and Chris from 'Life Below Zero: Next Generation,' who made a conscious choice to show their backs on modern life by going off the grid in Alaska.

If you're a fan of Life Below Zero, then you're going to love the National Geographic spinoff collection, Life Below Zero: Next Generation.

Set in Alaska, the show follows millennials as they make a aware choice to turn their backs on the stresses and conveniences of modern lifestyles by way of going off the grid to search out their "happy place" deep in the heart of the Alaskan desolate tract. 

Joining the solid of Life Below Zero: Next Generation are Jessi and Chris Morse, who lower ties with modern city existence and now reside near the Cosna River, located 100 miles from Fairbanks.

In an exclusive clip received by Distractify, Jessi and Chris disclose they have got no use for cash in the Last Frontier — theirs is crumpled in a corner of their cabin — and instead, rely heavily on wooden.  

"Wood is how we do everything out here," Jessi explained on the display. "If I want to cook, I am going to use my wood stove, if I want to heat the house, that's fired by wood, if I want to shower, that's fired by wood. 

Chris added, "A powerful background in mechanics and a willingness to adapt and overcome is in point of fact essential out right here."

So, who are Jessi and Chris Morse on 'Life Below Zero: Next Generation'?

The couple could be "off the grid" but they do have a Facebook page where their friend Brendon answers fan questions, including how the show was filmed during the coronavirus pandemic.

"Everyone (including movie team) was once required to have a detrimental test ahead of popping out, then any other rapid take a look at simply to make certain," he wrote. "Since they are remote, there's no people around to catch the virus from." 

Another thing Jessi and Chris can't live without: music!

"Jessi NEEDS tune to continue to exist. They download tune to outdated cellphones (they charge off solar)," Brendon shared. "So she has a couple of different telephones with track stored ... Also, she mentioned an outdated cassette participant they found within the cabin."

Jessi and Chris were unable to make it to their cabin last month.

On Aug. 20, Chris wrote that they were headed to their cabin, but were unable to reach their destination due to weather and terrain conditions.

"What a troublesome travel up the river. Too many log jams to rely, and by no means made the cabin," Chris explained. "The Cosna suffered from such a lot rain this year that there's numerous mud and gravel blocking off the channel, Jess pulled my boat as I drove!!!!" 

He went on to gush about Jessi, writing, "One of the hardest journeys ever, did over a hundred and seventy miles of cruising, jessi is any such unhealthy ass she never faltered. I'm so blessed to have her as my partner."
