When Brandon opened as much as Joy about his private life on Farmer Wants a Wife and he or she failed to turn a lot emotion, it set off some alarm bells for him. Where was once the empathy and care he had hoped to get from her in go back for opening up about himself? For Brandon, it nearly intended sending Joy house early. But within the April 11 episode, when he and Joy take a seat down to discuss it, he will get some other wonder from Joy.
She tearfully shares that the rationale behind her infrequently callous responses have to do with being recognized with epilepsy as a child and going thru a lot with her well being and drugs. And in a odd way, Joy opening as much as Brandon this time would possibly have if truth be told saved her from going home and turned her into his primary choice.
Joy explains at the Farmer Wants a Wife episode that there is a reason behind her behavior and infrequently lack of strong emotions for other people. Just speaking about it brings her to tears, which may have been enough to lend a hand Brandon perceive her. But after she opens up extra, they appear to search out a deeper connection.
"I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 12," Joy tells Brandon. I used to have seizures in my sleep moderately incessantly. It was like the worst pain that you must ever really feel in your existence. Like, I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy."

— Brandon Rogers (@FarmerBrandonR) March 1, 2024She also explains that "it best were given worse" when it was hard for her mom to afford the right care she needed. Since then, things have been more manageable for Joy. But because of her experience, she says, she has a hard time empathizing with people whose issues or struggles aren't as severe as her own because of everything she went through herself.
And this helps Brandon connect with Joy so deeply that he even asks her to go on his final solo date. Whereas it once seemed like he might be ready to say goodbye to her, Brandon seems to have renewed feelings for Joy.
Brandon has some tricky choices to make within the final few episodes of Farmer Wants a Wife Season 2. He has to choose between Joy, Grace, and Emerson. Grace could be the hardest competition for Joy in relation to how shut Brandon has gotten to her. Emerson, on the other hand, is a novice, as she arrived later within the season than the other women, so her reference to Brandon almost definitely isn't strong enough for him to select her to be with.
Right now, it appears promising for Joy. Opening as much as Brandon and literally crying in combination isn't one thing that anyone would take lightly, going into final selections.
