Charlie Hunnam Does Not Have Kids He Explains Why

The 'Sons of Anarchy' star has been courting his girlfriend Morgana McNelis for over 15 years, but does Charlie Hunnam have kids? Here is what he has stated about beginning a circle of relatives.

Actor Charlie Hunnam has starred in award-winning shows that lasted for years, and but, commitment seems to be his largest worry. 

Charlie has been performing for a long time but made a reputation for himself as Jax Teller at the hit FX show Sons of Anarchy.

Before his breakout function, he was once "discovered" in 1997 whilst Christmas buying groceries in a shoe store. He was once a bit bit inebriated and blew a kiss at a girl who happened to be the production supervisor for the British show Byker Grove.

The rest is history and he is now a bonafide Hollywood star but what will we find out about Charlie IRL? Here is what the 40-year-old has mentioned about marriage, kids, and his long run. 

Charlie Hunnam were given married in Las Vegas when he used to be 18 years previous.

In 1999, Charlie auditioned for Dawson's Creek and met actress Katherine Towne. They wasted no time, and after courting for three weeks the younger couple (Charlie used to be 18 years previous) got married in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, 3 years later, they divorced.

At CinemaCon in Las Vegas after the divorce, Charlie mentioned it was once "three terrible, painful, expensive years," however he did get the cats.

Charlie is currently dating longtime girlfriend Morgana McNelis.

Charlie met his present female friend, jewelry fashion designer Morgana McNelis, in 2005. The couple has been going strong for 15 years and helps to keep their courting mostly out of the public spotlight.

In an interview with Bravo's Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM Radio show this previous January, Charlie said that marriage was not one thing he specifically cares for, however that his girlfriend may be very much in a position to be engaged. 

He later backtracked and explained himself to TooFab, announcing that what he meant to mention was once that he already feels married.

 "The reality is I sort of consider myself married … I suppose what I was trying to articulate was that the official government sanctioning of it doesn't mean anything to me, but the romance of it means an enormous amount," he explained. 

In some other interview, he added, "I'll do it because it's important to her, but I don't have any great romantic feelings towards it."

Charlie does not have kids... yet.

Charlie is not a dad yet, but in 2017, he published to Entertainment Tonight that he thinks about having children "a lot."

"There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about them... as is my girlfriend," he printed. "We're in the first generation that's intellectualizing it rather than just going on pure primordial instinct. We are dealing with seemingly insurmountable challenges in society like looming inevitable economic collapse, environmental destruction... it's a question about the responsibility of bringing more children into the world."

While he admits he could be overthinking it, kids are indubitably on his thoughts, so there is a just right chance Charlie and Morgana will welcome a child within the near future.
